Job summary

Bateman Civil Survey Company is seeking a licensed civil engineer to manage the full lifecycle of land development projects—from concept through design, permitting, and construction support. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and team coordination while ensuring client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

You will lead internal teams, liaise with subconsultants and permitting agencies, and mentor junior staff, applying deep knowledge of local ordinances and utility design.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in land development civil engineering.
• PE license required.
• Proven experience managing civil site development projects.
• Extensive experience with Civil 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of civil engineering projects from design through permitting and construction support.
• Develop and manage project budgets, scopes of work, timelines, and staffing plans.
• Oversee technical production of project deliverables and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead client communication, including meetings and progress updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior staff and review engineering analyses and reports.
