Cochran, a growing civil engineering firm with multiple Missouri offices, is seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer to support a wide range of civil projects, including water/wastewater design. The role favors candidates already licensed and experienced in municipal and private sector projects.

Based in Wentzville, MO, the position emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions while adhering to standards and timelines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or on track to obtain within 12 months.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects including site development and roadway improvements.
• Prepare design plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform engineering calculations, site layout, grading, and stormwater modeling.
• Support project managers with schedules, budgets, permitting, and agency coordination.
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction observation and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for project success.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff as needed.
