Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to join our Site Design team in Dallas, TX. You will manage small to medium site development projects, prepare planning and design documents, and perform design calculations while coordinating with multidisciplinary Olsson teams and clients.

You may travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings, and you will mentor less experienced staff as part of project delivery. A PE license and Civil 3D experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Experience with Civil 3D and site design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs project management duties on small to medium sized site design projects.
• Prepares planning and design documents and processes design calculations.
• Coordinates with Olsson teams, staff, and clients.
• Travels to job sites for observation and client meetings as needed.
• Maintains project information and client records in the firm’s project management system.
• Communicates project development and progress to project managers and clients.
• Evaluates standard methods and adapts as needed for assignments.
• Supervises and provides technical guidance to less experienced staff.
