Job summary

Olsson in New York is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer on our Site Design team to manage small- to mid-sized projects, prepare design documents, and perform design calculations.

You will coordinate with Olsson teams and clients, travel to job sites as needed, and mentor junior staff while helping keep schedules and budgets.

A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a PE license are required; Civil 3D experience is preferred to deliver high quality projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a valid license.
• Experience with Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, designs, and constructs plans for small to large projects.
• Assists with project documents and monitors scope, schedule, and budget.
• Performs process design calculations and prepares cost estimates.
• Coordinates design aspects with teams and clients.
• Communicates project progress with managers and clients.
• Maintains project data in the firm’s project management system.
• Suggests improvements to standard methods for assignments.
• May supervise less experienced staff.
