Job summary

Olsson seeks a Civil Project Engineer for our Dallas/Fort Worth area to apply diverse engineering knowledge to a broad range of site development projects. The role includes coordinating with Olsson teams, engaging clients, and supporting design across disciplines.

The successful candidate will hold a PE license, possess a Civil Engineering degree, and bring 6+ years of related experience. We offer flexible work options, growth paths, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of related Civil Engineering experience.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare planning and design documents in the appropriate engineering discipline.
• Perform design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and use economic analyses for alternatives.
• Assist with project scope, schedule, and budget; assist with initiation paperwork and progress reports.
• Coordinate projects with Olsson teams; direct design tasks; maintain project records; coordinate with clients; attend client meetings.
• Assist with marketing/business development; may help write proposals.
• May serve as project manager on small projects.
• Independently perform assignments on complex projects.
