Job summary

Olsson seeks a Licensed Civil Engineer in Nebraska to independently perform engineering and project management on land development projects from conception to completion. You will perform design calculations, develop project scopes and schedules, and travel to job sites for observation.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in civil engineering, at least 4 years of experience, proficiency in Civil 3D, and an active PE license.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
Minimum of 4 years of related civil engineering experience.
Active PE license required or ability to obtain.
Proficiency with Civil 3D software is required.

Responsibilities

Performs engineering duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing plans for land development projects.
Assists with preparation of project documents, scopes, and schedules.
Performs design calculations and cost estimates, analyzes feasibility of projects.
Coordinates project design aspects and communicates progress with managers/clients.
Enters and maintains project information in the firm’s project management system.
May supervise and provide guidance to junior staff.
May travel to job sites for observation across various terrains and weather conditions.
