Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Civil Engineer with a passion for teamwork to support multidisciplinary land development projects. You will assist in basic design, CAD drafting, and research, while learning from senior engineers and contributing to schedules and calculations. Travel to job sites is possible as projects proceed.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ownership of tasks, and applying your civil engineering knowledge to create high-quality designs for diverse developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or internship in land development/site design.
• Must possess or obtain EI/EIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project design elements using standard methods and techniques.
• Perform entry-level plan production with clearly defined tasks.
• Learn and apply design and modeling software under supervision.
• Support project schedules and engineering calculations with guidance from senior staff.
• Contribute to portions of broader projects under direct supervision.
• Gather and prepare research for technical reports.
• Mentor student interns as needed.
• Travel to job sites and work in various terrains and weather conditions.
