Job summary

Garver’s Oklahoma Aviation team provides design and project management for runways, taxiways, drainage, and related facilities for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service airports. We seek an experienced Licensed Civil Engineer to perform aviation-related design, planning, grant administration, and client management.

The ideal candidate holds a PE in Oklahoma or can obtain within six months, with 4+ years of related experience and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, plus excellent

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Travel ~10% with occasional overnight may be required.

Overview

Garver’s Oklahoma Aviation team provides expertise and leadership to support airport design that meets current and future needs. We design and manage projects involving runways, taxiways, access roads, drainage, and related airport facilities for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports.

The team is seeking an experienced Licensed Civil Engineer to perform a wide array of aviation-related design, planning, grant administration, and client management services.

Responsibilities

• Project support and management for runway and taxiway construction, airfield lighting and signage installation, access road construction, drainage improvements, and pavement rehabilitation projects
• Significant design and construction oversight for multiple general aviation clients
• Collaborate with and coordinate design teams consisting of multi-discipline engineers and technicians
• Coordinate with clients and funding agencies
• Provide outstanding service to clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 4+ years of related experience
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma, or ability to obtain within six months of hire
• Strong written and oral communication skills with internal staff and external clients
• Some travel may be required (approximately 10% with occasional overnight)

Preferred Skills
