Undisclosed is seeking an OARS Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or Counselor Intern (CI) to support individuals and families dealing with substance abuse. The role involves counseling, intake, treatment planning, and coordination with other professionals.

You will maintain caseloads, ensure compliance with state regulations and CARF standards, participate in CTI training, and help monitor client progress while documenting case histories and data.

Qualifications

• Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor certification required or eligible (LCDC).
• Experience in substance abuse treatment preferred.
• Strong counseling and documentation skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Interviews clients, completes intake, reviews records, and coordinates with other professionals.
• Maintains a caseload of OARS clients (Funded, Medicaid, or combo).
• Formulates treatment plan and program with client.
• Counsels clients individually and in groups to address alcohol/drug dependency.
• Counsels families to support the client.
• Refers clients to other services (medical, social, employment).
• Monitors client condition, documents progress, and adapts treatment as needed.
• Maintains reports and client files in compliance with regulations.
