Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of therapeutic community philosophy.
• Willingness to adhere to the therapeutic community modality.
• Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
• Experienced and capable of identifying appropriate resources for client development and providing substance abuse counseling.
• Capable of discerning facts from opinions and remaining objective when listening to conflicting opinions.
• Experienced in working with diverse population.
• Possesses good time management skills needed to meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Patience, perseverance, and resilience in a challenging environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans within three service days of admission.
• Provide individual and group counseling services as indicated by the treatment plan.
• Conduct regular treatment plan reviews each week.
• Complete client discharge summaries within two working days of discharge.
• Maintain documentation meeting clinical, funding and billing criteria.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with Cenikor policies.
• Work with facility staff to maintain a safe recovery environment.
