Job summary

Cenikor Foundation seeks a dedicated counselor to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and provide direct counseling services to clients. You will collaborate with facility staff to ensure a safe recovery environment and deliver both individual and group sessions according to a structured schedule.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in substance abuse treatment, competency in documenting care, and a commitment to Cenikor's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience in substance abuse treatment or counseling is preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic community philosophy and setting is valued.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) are essential.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within three service days of admission.
• Provide individual and group counseling as per schedule.
• Lead counseling sessions, life skills groups, and encounter groups as assigned.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with clinical, funding and billing requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold Cenikor's core principles in daily work.
