Job summary

Cenikor Foundation in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Counselor to provide substance abuse treatment and services, helping clients develop skills to live free of dependence. LCDC required; LPC/LPCa/LMSW/LCSW/LMFT accepted. A $5K retention bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Two years substance abuse treatment experience preferred.
• One year counseling experience with chemically dependent adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within three service days of admission.
• Provide individual and group counseling according to the treatment plan.
• Lead sessions and life skills groups as assigned.
• Document accurately and maintain confidentiality in the clinical record.
• Coordinate with facility staff to ensure a safe recovery environment.
• Complete discharge summaries and referral reports timely.
