Qualifications

• High School Degree.
• Minimum of two years experience working with drills and explosives.
• Blaster I training completed; Blaster II training required.
• Possess a Valid Blasting Certificate where required.
• Must have a valid CDL with hazmat endorsement and is a company-qualified driver with a good driving record.
• Willing to travel out of town/state and pass ATF background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned blasting activities.
• Works as a job site blaster under supervision.
• Provides input on blast-related activities to aid supervisor.
• Identifies blast site problems and resolves with supervisor.
• Verifies pre-blast inspections have been conducted.
• Performs all necessary pre-blast tests and seismograph setup.
• Adheres to company safety policies and practices.
