Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Psychotherapist to serve the High Point market with the option to provide care through in-person and remote telemedicine services. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., with benefits eligible and a comprehensive total rewards package. Required: Master's degree in a relevant field, full licensure in the state, CPI/CPR training, and at least 2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant human services field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy).
• Full licensure in the applicable state is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate patient care based on identified needs.
• Manage clients in crisis using appropriate therapeutic skills and assessments.
• Write treatment and discharge plans and follow termination processes.
• Collaborate with guardians and community agencies to ensure service delivery.
• Complete documentation in the medical record and billing information.
• Design and deliver effective patient education.
