Qualifications

• Full licensure in applicable state required.
• 2 years clinical experience required.
• CPI and CPR training required for psychotherapist in inpatient psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and evaluates patient care according to identified needs.
• Manages clients in crisis utilizing appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques.
• Writes appropriate treatment plans according to patient diagnosis, age and clinical presentation; drafts discharge plans and completes termination process.
• Collaborates with guardians and community agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
• Completes patient care assignments with accurate documentation and timely billing information.
• Designs, plans and delivers effective patient education.
• Maintains open communication with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
