Job summary

PAM Voyages Behavioral Health of Sugar Land is seeking a Behavioral Therapist to care for a diverse, inpatient population. The role requires diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling with a mixed caseload and collaboration with the medical director.

Applicants should have a Master's in Social Work or equivalent, licensure (LICSW/LMFT preferred, LPC/LGSW considered), and current BLS; crisis management certification per policy is expected. 2–3 years' experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's in Social Work from an accredited program with licensure.
• LICSW or LMFT licensure preferred; LPC/LGSW considered with supervision.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling for a mixed caseload.
• Assist with development of treatment plans and conduct family assessments.
• Consult with attending psychiatrist or medical director regarding plan of care.
• Document interventions and refer to outside resources.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team; report to Director of Social Services.
