Job summary

Johnson Memorial Health Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, and therapy across the lifespan within an integrated care setting. You will collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient-centered care and contribute to community behavioral health access.

The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions, ongoing education to maintain licensure, and participation in multidisciplinary activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
• Current Minnesota licensure, or eligibility for Minnesota licensure as LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
• Ability to diagnose and treat mental health disorders within an independent scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy within scope of practice.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health providers, primary care clinicians, nursing, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
