Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Behavioral Health Therapist to provide outpatient mental health services, including assessments, counseling, care planning, and referrals within an integrated care team.

The role requires a master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology, active SC licensure (LISW-CP preferred), and 3 years of medical–set counseling experience; strong clinical skills and confidentiality essential. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology and eligibility for SC licensure.
• At least 3 years of counseling experience in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 nomenclature, confidentiality, and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient assessments, counseling, and brief interventions.
• Develop and review individualized treatment plans with patients and families.
• Coordinate care with patients' medical providers and consulting psychiatrist.
• Maintain clinical documentation and progress notes per regulations and hospital policy.
