Texas Health Resources is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist for our Denton clinic. You will provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy aligned with our care philosophy, addressing goals from patient treatment plans.

The role requires a Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work and licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT or equivalents) upon hire, with healthcare counseling experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work required.
• 2 years of healthcare related Counseling or Social Work experience preferred.
• Licensure/certification as LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT or equivalent required upon hire.
• Maintains required training (CPI/ACPI/BLS) annually or per policy.

Responsabilités

• Provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy and counseling.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
• Adapts therapy to age-specific and cultural considerations.
• Ensures documentation is clear, concise, and reflects clinical expertise.
• Collaborates with treatment team and physicians to coordinate care.
• Coordinates referrals and transitions with community resources.
