Overview:

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist.

Position Status: Flexi/PRN, Rotating Shift

Position Location: On-site in Virginia Beach, VA

Standard Working Hours: Must be flexible to work between 8:00AM to 4:30PM or 4:00PM to 8:00PM. Must be able to work a few shifts per week or every other week.

Overview:

The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides individual, group, and/or family therapy; offers staff consultation/supervision, and education. Responsible for delivering social work/counseling services to patients in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings. Assesses social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situations, as well as disposition needs, for each patient. Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs. Evaluates the effectiveness of these plans and makes necessary adjustments.

Education:

• Master's Degree

Certification/Licensure:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) - Required

Experience:

• Related experience is preferred but not required
