Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work required.
• LMSW license highly preferred.
• Minimum one year internship or experience in a similar position and/or industry.
• Keeps up to date on professional literature and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct high quality psychotherapy services to patients (assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, group/individual/family treatment, discharge planning).
• Assists patients and families in understanding diagnoses and potential treatments.
• Works as part of the multidisciplinary team and unit community relations team.
• Performs timely, accurate progress notes and assessments per program procedures.
• Participates in CQI+ outcome data submission and monitors patient performance.
