Sign-on bonus: up to $5,000 if eligible

Department: Stress Center at Ascension - Float

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hr/week

Hospital: Ascension Saint Vincent Stress Center

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Qualifications

Masters degree in behavioral health related field required.
Associate license considered, Full clinical license preferred.

Eligible candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field and must hold a clinical license such as LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health counseling services.
• Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
• Administer individual and group therapy.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
• Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Inform patients about resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and community providers to ensure coordinated care from treatment initiation to discharge.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• Licensed Associate Counselor specializing in Mental Health or Clinical Addiction from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board, obtained prior to hire or transfer.
• Licensed Social Worker credentialed from the same board, obtained prior to hire or transfer.
• Licensed Associate Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family, obtained within 48 months of hire.
• BLS Provider certification preferred (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work required.

Additional Preferences

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field with a clinical license (LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW) is required. Associate licenses are considered, but full clinical licenses are preferred.
