Department: Stress Center at Ascension - Float Schedule: Full Time, 40 hr/weekHospital: Ascension Saint Vincent Stress CenterLocation: Indianapolis, IN

*Sign on Bonus applies to experienced counselor's only.

Masters degree in behavioral health related field required.

Associate license considered, Full clinical license preferred.

Eligible candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or another related field and must have a clinical license LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW. Associate license considered, Full clinical license preferred.

What You Will Do

Provide behavioral health counseling services.

• Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
• Administer individual and group therapy.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
• Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
• Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:
  • Licensed Associate Counselor specializing in Mental Health credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Associate Counselor specializing in Clinical Addiction credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Social Worker credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Associate Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained within 48 Months (4 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work required.

Additional Preferences

Eligible candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or another related field and must have a clinical license LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW. These are required!
