Job summary

Great Plains Tribal Health in Rapid City, SD seeks a Behavioral Health Consultant Level I & II to provide professional clinical behavioral health services to Oyáte Health Center patients. The role collaborates with physicians and care teams and conducts screenings, assessments, and interventions.

The position includes crisis response, case management, group facilitation, documentation in Electronic Health Records, and coordination with tribal and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with licensure as LPC, CSW, or LMFT.
• Level II requires additional licensure as CSW/CSW-PIP, LPC/LPC-MH, or LMFT.
• Experience providing behavioral health services to individuals, families, and groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services including screening, assessment, and therapy.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to address psychosocial factors.
• Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
• Develop integrated treatment plans and coordinate referrals.
• Document clinical notes in the Electronic Health Records system.
