Job summary

Turning Point Recovery Center in Albuquerque, NM is seeking independently licensed or provisionally licensed clinicians to join a growing team addressing substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Opportunities may include intake, individual and group therapy, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Flexible schedule options include full-time, part-time, or contract roles.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed NM behavioral health professionals (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD).
• Master’s-level or provisionally licensed clinicians toward independent licensure (LMSW, LMHC, etc.).
• Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Value evidence-based practice, collaboration, accountability, and person-centered care.
• Strong clinical communication and documentation skills.
• Understanding of ethics, confidentiality, and documentation standards.
• Ability to use an electronic health record and other clinical technology.
• Experience in substance use treatment is valued, with interest in addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake, psychosocial, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling or psychotherapy.
• Utilize MI, CBT, Matrix Model, and other evidence-based modalities.
• Provide integrated treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, counselors, and other treatment team members.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Participate in clinical supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.
