Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, based in the United States, is seeking a behavioral health care manager to oversee member cases and coordinate treatment needs. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with clinical licensure in Arizona required and flexible remote work when located in Arizona.

You will engage high‑risk members, complete assessments, collaborate with providers, and ensure evidence‑based care within an integrated care model. ARIZONA residency is required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy; or Doctorate-degreed Psychologist.
• Active, unrestricted licensed to practice independently in Arizona: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LP.
• 2+ years of experience in a related mental health environment.
• 1+ years of experience working with local and state community resources in Arizona.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Teams, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Permanent residency in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Engage members transitioning through various levels of behavioral health care.
• Complete member assessments and educate on resources and services.
• Coordinate and collaborate with providers and treatment teams.
• Identify barriers to care and strategize solutions.
• Add value to treatment plans and consult with facility staff on ideas.
• Work from an Integrated Care Management Model for high‑risk members.
• Join weekly interdisciplinary rounds to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
