Job summary

Chimes in Wyomissing, PA, seeks a Licensed Behavior Specialist for the Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program. You will design, implement, and oversee behavior support services under a Clinical Coordinator, performing assessments, creating behavior plans, and coordinating with families, schools, and the treatment team.

Fully licensed LBS candidates are welcome, with unlicensed candidates holding a Master’s degree and pursuing LBS/BSL certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling, or related field.
• At least one year of full-time experience providing mental or behavioral health services to children, youth or young adults.
• Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) preferred.
• Unlicensed candidates with a Master’s degree may apply if eligible for BSL or LBS certification.
• Credentials include: LBS, BSL, MSW, or LPC.
• Clearances: PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal History Clearance, FBI Fingerprinting, Medicaid/Medicare non-exclusion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and comprehensive client evaluations.
• Develop and oversee individualized behavior management and treatment plans.
• Provide mobile, community-based behavioral services in IBHS.
• Deliver crisis assessment and stabilization services as needed.
• Collect and analyze outcome data for re-authorizations and planning.
• Provide consultation to Behavioral Health Technicians, parents, caregivers, teachers, and families.
