Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Fee-for-Service Licensed Behavior Consultant to support Lewistown, PA and surrounding area. The role designs and directs individualized behavior modification plans for children/adolescents and families, with supervision available for BCBA licensure.

Earn $35/hour for licensed professionals and $40/hour for BCBA. Benefits include supervision, training, mileage stipend, laptop, flexible schedule (min 15 hours/week), and monthly supervision.

Qualifications

• Candidate must meet one of the listed qualification pathways.
• Active PA license as Behavior Specialist or BCBA is preferred.
• Graduate degree with practicum or direct mental health experience.
• Experience providing direct mental health services to children and young adults is valued.

Responsibilities

• Designs and directs behavior modification intervention plans.
• Identifies behavioral goals and non-aversive techniques.
• Maintains contact with child and family and participates in team meetings.
• Provides assessment, design and monitoring with limited direct therapy.
• Consults in meetings when behavioral issues arise in schools or other systems.

Education

Licensed Behavior Specialist in PA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Graduate degree in ABA

Graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling with 1 year direct mental health services

Graduate degree with clinical/mental health practicum
