Job summary

Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC is seeking BCBAs and LBS in Lackawanna/Luzerne County with flexible full- or part-time schedules including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and paid time off in a collaborative environment.

Earn $80,000 for 30 billable hours (BSL) plus an hourly pay range of $51–$60. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, paid holidays and flexible scheduling; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BACB certification in good standing is required.
• Behavior Specialist license is required.
• Master's degree in a mental health field is required.
• One year paid experience with children/adolescents preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and related tools.
• Develop treatment plans based on FBA findings using evidence-based practices.
• Provide clinical supervision of BHT or RBT workers.
• Direct 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans written by BCBA supervisor.
• Collect data during each session and adjust programming as needed.
• Support parents, teachers, and community officials.
• Coordinate communication with supporting agencies and document all paperwork.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), VB MAPP, AFLS and ABLLS-R assessments.
• Develop treatment plan based on the findings of the FBA using evidence-based practices.
• Provide clinical supervision of BHT or RBT workers performing the following duties:
• Direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home, school and community environments.
• Implementation of individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data during each session with the client
• reduction of challenging behaviors--aggression, property destruction, tantrums, etc.
• Analyze data to adapt and adjust programming.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, or community officials.
• Provide clinical support to direct care staff.
• Implement consequences relating to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
• Establish coordination of communication with other supporting agencies.
• Exchange information clearly and concisely with the appropriate parties and concerns.
• Complete and submit all paperwork including documentation of session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans and assessments in a timely manner.

Qualifications And Skills

• BACB Certification in good standing.
• Behavior Specialist License is required.
• Master's Degree (MS or MA) in a mental health field and one (1) year documented paid experience working with children, adolescents or youth.
• Valid driver's license is required as well as willingness to travel as needed.
• One (1) year of paid experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).

Salary

W2 employees. Matrix covers up to 72% of your health premium and up to 60% dental premium. Matrix provides a company sponsored 401k plan. 2-weeks paid time off at your main billable rate even for part-time positions. Performance bonuses.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
