Job summary

Sephora in Providence, RI is seeking a licensed beauty advisor to perform makeup, waxing and related services within the Beauty Studio and to educate clients on trends and products. You will rebook clients, achieve store goals, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment.

The role requires an active state license for waxing, makeup, and lash services, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and strong product knowledge. Flexible, reliable scheduling is a must in this fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false lash services in the state where services are performed.
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail/hospitality/service environments.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by helping achieve store goals through beauty services, client servicing, and product sales and rebooking.
• Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu; stay informed on trends to educate clients.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards; ensure health and safety compliance.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork; support a culture of openness and collaboration.
• Uphold Sephora standards and policies to create a safe, enjoyable shopping experience.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with required shifts; available during peak retail times (nights, weekends, holidays).
