Job summary

Sephora Providence is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor for part-time hours in our store. You will perform makeup, waxing, and related beauty services, guiding clients in a vibrant, inclusive environment.

The role requires an active state license, 1–3 years’ experience, and a customer-focused approach. Flex scheduling with peak-hour availability is expected. Competitive hourly pay and employee benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where performed.
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by helping achieve store goals through beauty services, client servicing, and product sales.
• Perform beauty services such as makeup and waxing per Sephora menu and stay current on trends.
• Maintain licensure and uphold health and safety standards.

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability

• Must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/ hours
  • Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week
  • Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week
  • Flex (as needed): 4-14 hrs/week
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications/Experience

• An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are being performed
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
