Job summary

Sephora Huntington Beach is seeking a licensed beauty advisor for part-time hours at the CA-Huntington Beach location. You will guide clients at the Beauty Studio, perform makeup and waxing services, and educate on trends while providing personalized service.

A valid state license is required; candidates should have 1–3 years of relevant experience and strong product knowledge. The role supports a diverse team and requires availability for peak retail hours.

Qualifications

• An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are being performed.
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora's Beauty Services menu with up-to-date trends and knowledge.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards to ensure health and safety.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork to promote a culture of openness and empowerment.
• Uphold Sephora standards by following policies and creating a safe, secure shopping experience.
