Job summary

Thriveworks Counseling in Paramus, NJ seeks clinicians pursuing New Jersey licensure as a LPC to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions. The organization offers substantial support, credentialing services, and a hybrid work model.

Candidates must be licensed or pursuing independent licensure, reside close to Paramus, and be available to work a 7 a.m.–10 p.m. schedule. Comprehensive benefits are included as part of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in New Jersey.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the Paramus office and work a hybrid model (50% in office, 50% remote).
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Graduate or post-graduate experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required.
• Experience conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) under supervision per DSM-5.
• Available for a minimum of 25 sessions weekly with 30 hours of availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to clients via telehealth and in-person sessions.
• Build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing.
• Support credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing efforts.
• Maintain flexible scheduling seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
