• Experience conducting group sessions.
• Licensed mental health professional (LAC/LSW) or equivalent.
• Ability to conduct intake/orientation and assessment.
• Documentation in patient records.

Responsibilities

• Perform new patient intake and orientation.
• Conduct initial assessments and support treatment planning.
• Lead individual therapy sessions.
• Facilitate therapy groups.
• Document in patient medical records.
• Provide case management.
• Offer tours for prospective patients and families.
• Address patient concerns to avoid AMA.

Position Title: Counselor

Counselor Duties/Responsibilities

• New patient intake and orientation
• Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team to initiate treatment planning
• Conducts individual sessions
• Facilitates groups with patients
• Addresses patient's concerns and helps eliminate possibility of AMA
• Provides Case Management
• Provides tours for prospective patients and their families as requested.
• Documentation in patient medical record

Counselor Requirements

• Must have one of the following: LAC, LSW
• Mental Health license or certification, clean and active
• New graduates welcome
• Experience conducting group sessions
• Flexibility and willingness are great attributes

Counselor Schedule

• Full Time
• 1PM - 9:30PM

Counselor Compensation

Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
