Sport Clips West Lafayette is looking for an Assistant Manager to run the floor alongside the Store Manager, coach the team, and deliver results that drive a thriving salon. You will lead by example behind the chair and help with scheduling, inventory, and team huddles while mentoring stylists to improve client satisfaction scores.

This role offers strong earning potential with a base pay of $26–$35 per hour plus leadership pay, tips, and weekend bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana cosmetology or barber license.
• Experience behind the chair and a track record of strong numbers.
• Natural leader: you’d rather help the team win than win alone.
• Reliable, organized, and available for weekends and key shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run the floor when the Store Manager is off — opening, closing, and keeping the wait times down.
• Coach stylists on the MVP experience, product recommendations, and client satisfaction scores.
• Help with scheduling, inventory, and team huddles.
• Set the example behind the chair — you’re still cutting, and you’re the standard.
• Train as the next Store Manager — this is the seat we promote from.
