Job summary

Sport Clips Haircuts in Clinton, UT is hiring an Assistant Salon Manager to support daily salon operations, lead a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional client experience. This role is ideal for an experienced licensed hair stylist, barber, or cosmetologist who wants to grow into leadership while still cutting hair.

Qualifications

• Licensed Utah cosmetology or barber license.
• Experience as a hair stylist or barber, men’s cuts preferred.
• Past leadership or team lead roles are a plus.
• Strong customer service and team development focus.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support salon leadership with daily operations and team coordination.
• Coach and develop stylists to deliver MVP client experience.
• Assist with scheduling, opening/closing duties, and salon standards.
• Provide high-quality men’s haircuts and grooming services.

Sport Clips Haircuts in Clintonis now hiring an Assistant Salon Manager to support daily salon operations, lead a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional client experience. This role is perfect for an experienced licensed hair stylist, barber, or cosmetologist ready to grow their leadership career while still doing what they love, cutting hair.

Not Quite Ready for a Manager role? We've got you covered. We offer a comprehensive Manager-in-Training program. Licensed stylists who are not yet ready for a Salon Management role can apply to our Manager-in-Training program, which provides hands-on leadership development in scheduling, inventory, customer service, and salon operations. We want to be the home for both current and future leaders.

What You’ll Do

• Support salon leadership with daily operations and team coordination
• Coach and develop stylists to deliver a consistent MVP client experience
• Assist with scheduling, opening/closing duties, and salon standards
• Provide high-quality men’s haircuts and grooming services
• Help foster a positive, welcoming, and team-focused salon culture

What We’re Looking For

• Active Utah Cosmetology or BarberLicense
• Experience as a hair stylist or barber (men’s cutting preferred)
• Previous salon leadership or team lead experience preferred (but not required)
• Passion for customer service and team development
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
