Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent in education or experience.
• 8+ years experience in architectural practice as a project architect.
• Architectural registration required with current license.
• NCARB registration desired and LEED Green Associate Accreditation desired.
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the courses of employment.
• Proficiency in Revit, TonicDM, and Microsoft Office; Deltek Vantagepoint knowledge preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage, design and deliver building projects through a pro-active delivery process with staff or external teams.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; coordinate consultants in all phases.
• Direct production of projects and mentor staff within a collaborative team.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and owners to achieve project goals.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget and project status; maintain client confidence and professionalism.
• Develop design concepts, reports, calculations and construction documents.
• Prepare construction specifications and support QA throughout the project life cycle.
• Participate in presentations to authorities for land use and permits; observe progress and advise on plans.
• Act as SME on specialized systems and coordinate with project management, architects and consultants.
