Job summary

Kovachik Aircraft Services in Burlington, ON is seeking a driven Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME M1) for a full-time, on-site role. You will conduct planned and unplanned maintenance on our fleet of small aircraft, following Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures, with weekend availability and overtime opportunities.

This position requires a valid Transport Canada AME M1 license, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to interpret drawings and manuals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME M1 license.
• Experience working on general aviation M1 aircraft and systems.
• Weekend availability.
• Proficient with computers.
• Knowledge of CARs regulations.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance on our fleet of aircraft in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Perform inspections of airframes, engines and components.
• Ensure maintenance practices meet quality standards and internal regulations.
• Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe hangar environment.

Skills

Valid Transport Canada AME M1 license

Experience with aviation M1 aircraft

Available to work weekends

Computer proficiency
