The Opportunity

If you are a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who takes pride in safety, technical accuracy, and working as part of a dependable, professional team, you’ll find a strong fit with Jazz’s heavy maintenance division – Jazz Technical Services (JTS). Purpose of Position

To maintain the aircraft in an airworthy condition and carry out maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance duties on company aircraft.
Report to Maintenance Crew Chief and Maintenance Supervisor on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft.
Coordinate parts requirements with the Maintenance Crew Chief and the Maintenance Supervisor.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with company standards.
When applicable, provide instructional support to apprentice engineers to help guide their skill development.
Complete and certify logbooks and work orders for work accomplished.
Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with company requirements and Transport Canada regulations.
Attend training courses as directed by the company.
Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, giving primary consideration to personal safety as well as the safety of co‑workers and customers.
Maintain the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

Valid Transport Canada AME License, Category M.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
Valid Canadian‑issued driver’s license with no restrictions or conditions.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).
Experience performing heavy maintenance on CRJ 900, Dash 8‑400 and/or E175 aircraft is considered a strong asset.
Legal working authority in Canada is required.
Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, are required.
