Job summary

Air Methods Corporation in Wichita, KS is seeking a licensed A&P mechanic with PC-12/Turboprop experience to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on company aircraft and related components. You will ensure compliance with FARs and company procedures, document maintenance actions accurately, and support operational readiness.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, FAA A&P license, and the ability to travel 25–50%. Overtime and on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license required.
• 2–5 years of related experience.
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
• FAR 135 operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components per procedures, ADs, and FARs.
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers align with documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance docs comply with regulations and manuals.
• Participate in SMS continuous improvement and safety programs.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and communicate issues to leadership.
• Advise PIC of any maintenance issues that could take aircraft out of service.
• Request parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
