Raytheon is seeking a License Services Technical Specialist to administer and optimize licensing for large-scale engineering environments across Windows and Linux. The role emphasizes FlexLM/Reprise/CodeMeter/Sentinel license managers, DR planning, and cross‑functional collaboration with IT and engineering teams.

The position requires strong scripting with PowerShell, PowerApps, and Power BI, plus experience with license analytics and cloud exposure.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Windows Server and RHEL administration experience including log handling, permissions, and basic troubleshooting
• Experience with one or more of the engineering license managers (FlexLM, Reprise/RLM, CodeMeter, SentinelRMS, SentinelHASP, and vendor‑specific technologies)
• Experience automating workflows using PowerApps, PowerShell, or similar technologies
• U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsabilités

• Administer and support engineering license servers across Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance.
• Support application teams by providing strong operational, administrative, and technical understanding of engineering license managers to help ensure their license services run reliably across Windows and Linux environments.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance license managers, working closely with tool owners to monitor usage, address outages, optimize configurations, and validate entitlement alignment.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and platform teams during sustainment activities and major version upgrades to understand upcoming changes and ensure licensing services remain supported across environments.
• Develop automated workflows using Power BI, PowerApps, and PowerShell to streamline manual processes and improve transparency for tool owners and engineering teams.
• Build advanced Power BI dashboards and data models leveraging big‑data sets from license logs, license managers, and Splunk reports.
