Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a full-time LPN to join our Nursing Department on the AM Day shift in Phoenix. You will provide safe, therapeutic patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting our warming, respectful environment.

Requirements include current LPN licensure, BLS, CPI within 30 days, fingerprint card, and experience in psychiatric inpatient settings. We offer a collaborative team, training, and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure is required.

• A Level One Fingerprint Card is required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required.
• Minimum 6 months of psychiatric experience preferred.
• CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions promptly and accurately.
• Monitor safety within the therapeutic milieu and assist in managing crisis situations, including assaultive patients.
• Assist in the admission process, including comprehensive data collection and orienting new patients to the unit and program.
• Document relevant patient interactions, collected data, and responses to therapeutic interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate closely with RNs and interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate individualized care plans.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications.
