Job summary

YAI in East Brooklyn, Connecticut, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. In this role, you will assist in providing medical insight, participate in medical care planning, and train direct care staff.

The ideal candidate will have a current NYS LPN license and experience with medically related in-services. This position has a salary up to $60,000 annually and works Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist with lifting and standing as needed.

Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Assist in providing medical insight
• Work in an increasingly autonomous role
• Participate in the assessment, planning, and implementation of medical care
• Provide oversight and training of direct care staff in monitoring the medical systems
• Participate in team meetings and provide medically related in‑services to program staff

• Med/Surg experience
• Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population

Compensation
