Aspire Indiana Health, Inc. in Indianapolis seeks a License Eligible Therapist - Addictions to provide addiction and dual-diagnosis therapy in an outpatient setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a mental health field and have at least two years of related experience; licensure progress toward full licensure is preferred. Hybrid scheduling may be available, and a $1,500 hiring bonus is offered.

• Licensure progress toward full licensure (LSW/LMHC/LMFTA) preferred; LCAC preferred.
• Knowledge of social service systems and community resources is highly preferred.

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive "whole health" services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

The License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will utilize a strengths based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals.

Education/Experience

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required
• Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required
• Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
• Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
• Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred

Licensure

• Must have a temporary license to practice or;
• Be recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana
• Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) preferred
• Must be working towards full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
