Aspire Indiana Health is seeking a License Eligible Therapist - Addictions to deliver outpatient therapy for individuals with substance use disorders. You will facilitate group and individual sessions using a strengths-based recovery approach and work with a multidisciplinary team to integrate care with primary providers.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a mental health field, a temporary license or current Indiana licensure paths (LSW/LMHCA/LMFTA preferred), and 2+ years of relevant

• Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
• Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
• Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy in an outpatient setting.

Position Summary

The License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will utilize a strengths based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals.

Education/Experience

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required
• Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required
• Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
• Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
• Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred

Licensure

• Must have a temporary license to practice or;
• Be recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana
• Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) preferred
• Must be working towards full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
