Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Office of Medical Education (OME) seeks a Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) Specialty Liaison to support a revamped LIC curriculum.

The role spans open ranks (Instructor to Professor) with 0.05–0.3 FTE salary support at a cap of $250,000, based in Aurora, CO, interfacing with family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, psychiatry, surgery, and emergency medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board certified.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate faculty appointment at CU School of Medicine.
• Experience in medical education and curriculum development preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, faculty, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inpatient immersion experiences for LIC students.
• Develop protocols to facilitate longitudinal care and follow-up for students.
• Recruit and supervise preceptors who work longitudinally with students.
• Provide ongoing faculty development and teaching of LIC students and didactics.
• Assist with assessment of students and remediation planning in collaboration with CCDs.
• Coordinate LIC program administration at the LIC site as needed.
