City of McKinney library staff are seeking an engaged team member to support reference, circulation, digital resources, and information services. You will help create a welcoming environment, assist customers, and facilitate programs and outreach with diverse community partners.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and a willingness to learn. Flexibility with hours and a commitment to excellent service are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist library customers with reference, readers’ advisory, circulation, digital resources, and information services.
• Helps maintain a clean and welcoming environment for the public by upkeeping library spaces and collections.
• Assist with public computers, scanners, and printers.
• Assist in planning, development, and implementation of policies, procedures, workflows, and goals.
• Collaborate on library displays, promotions, and outreach events.
• Assist in training new employees and/or volunteers.
