Job Opportunities

The Westbrook Public Library has an opening for a Library Technical Assistant 2. This full-time position (35 hours) is available June 3, 2025.

Responsibilities:

1. Work behind a busy Circulation desk.
2. Design promotional materials.
3. Work well with staff and the public.
4. Be familiar with library materials and services for all ages.
5. Quickly and accurately alphabetize items.

Qualifications:

1. Two (2) years of experience demonstrating practical knowledge of library functions, services, terminology, techniques, procedures, and standard tools, or comparable experience.
2. A Library Technical Assistant certificate or equivalent, or two (2) years of college.

The starting wage is $18.41/hour with benefits.
