The Kathryn A. Martin Library at the University of Minnesota offers a full-time, 10-month Civil-Service position for a Desk Supervisor.

Kathryn A. Martin Library Services Desk Supervisors are responsible for:
The person in this position will spend the majority of their working time as the designated library services desk supervisor. This 10 month position is scheduled to work full time (40 hours/week) during the academic year (late August - early May) and will be responsible for weekend shifts and some evening shifts. A typical schedule may look like
Saturdays-Wednesdays on, Thursdays & Fridays off. Work schedules are dependent on Library open hours and are subject to change from semester to semester.
The person in this position may be assigned minor, non-recurring duties or tasks that change frequently and don't consume more than 10% of a regular 40-hour work week. These tasks will be related to the general framework of the employee's duties.
Active work schedule runs from August through May annually, with a scheduled unpaid short work break in June and July.
High school graduation with one year full time equivalent library, clerical or related work experience.

Pay Range: $23.17 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience
