Job summary

Mississippi State University is seeking a Print Services Coordinator within the MaxxSouth Digital Media Center to oversee print production, assist patrons, manage inventory, and develop promotional materials and online interfaces for DMC services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with design software, plus a willingness to lead workshops and train student staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field is required.
• Two years of experience in at least two areas (makerspaces, printing services, graphic design or instruction).
• Two years of demonstrable experience with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based design tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee print production projects, including high volumes on laser and wide-format printers.
• Manage inventory of paper, toner and supplies and place orders as needed.
• Communicate with patrons about print tickets and invoice services.
• Hire and supervise student assistants and oversee training.
• Collaborate with the graphic designer and web services to develop promotional materials and online interfaces.
